One of the most important process stages - flushing of all safety systems to the open reactor has started at Unit 7 of Tianwan NPP (China), being constructed with participation of Rosatom companies.
After its completion, reactor assembly and further commissioning stages: inspection and testing of the reactor primary circuit, hot and cold trials will start at the unit.

A ceremony was held in China to mark the start of construction of power units 7 and 8 of Tianwan NPP and power units 3 and 4 of Xudapu NPP.
President Vladimir Putin and President Xi Jinping took part in the event by teleconference.
ROSATOM Director General Alexey Likhachev said: The power units of Tianwan NPP are now reliably the benefit of the Chinese people and making a significant contribution to ensuring China energy security. So far, the units, which were built with Russia participation, have already produced more than 270 billion kilowatt-hours."
