The Gosatomnadzor of Belarus considers that the safety level of the first power unit of the Belarusian NPP meets the target safety requirements.

The Rosenergoatom Concern will reduce the power of the Balakovo NPP by 500 MW and the Rostov NPP by 600 MW from May 1 to May 10 due to the planned restriction of the Russian System Operator.

The spent nuclear fuel from the BelNPP is planned to be sent to Russia for processing in 10 years.
