The first children sports and athletic contest has been held at El-Dabaa NPP construction site in Egypt Communications Division of Rosatom State Corporation Engineering Division, PUBLISHED 25.04.2025 The first children's sports and athletic contest "El Dabaa Kids Sports Festival" has been held at El-Dabaa NPP construction site (general designer and general contractor is the Engineering Division of State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom). The sports festival has been held with the support of ANO "Atom-sport". The festival has been attended by over 200 participants from the "Childhood Territory" Center, these are the children of the employees of the companies involved in the NPP construction. The program of the event included races for different distances, "Ready for labor and defense" events, hopping over the skipping rope and chess. Besides, contests were held in three team sports: football, pioneer ball and street ball. Upon the results of the contest, the young participants received medals and certificates of merit. "In line with the good sports traditions of the Egyptian site, we have held the sports festival involving the young generation. Such events consolidate families, strengthen team spirit and working teams, improve the emotional and the physical condition and, consequently, have a positive effect on production achievements", said Konstantin Fokin, head of the "Public and sport events" area.
